Week 49/Gratitude

Week 49 (Tucson taper week 2):
Week's running totals: 21.2 (eeks)
2009 running totals:1735.99
Weight/core training: 1
Swimming: 0
Days sans sugar: I've given up. I'm not doing bad, but I'm too taper stressed to worry about it right now. Will start back up Jan 1.

Gratitude:
-My black patent leather Dooney & Bourke purse (yeah, baby! This is a rare treat. You wouldn't believe what I had to sell to get it :) )
-That little man dressed in brown who brings me packages; he's better than Santa!
-Charlie
-My NEW purple running shirt for Tucson. It has a pocket in the back to carry all my garb! It's gonna bring me good luck.
-Carmex

I've seen people wearing those shirts that have pockets in the back at various races. They look awesome. Where can I find one?

You'll do great in Tucson. Just stay focused and healthy and you'll have what you need when the time comes.

I am a Dooney girl, too! I will take a pic and send you my latest. Hubbs got it for me and likes how big it is so that he can put his wallet, sunglasses, keys, etc!
Your gratitude list is always inspiring...maybe I should start one...hmmmm...Happy Wednesday!

Good luck to you. Channel the energy and focus into the race! Might be hard to focus on that now, but when the gun goes off, motivation and dedication will drive.

So you ran BSIM? Wow! I looked for it in your archives and saw that ran Boston, too. Wow, again! I've got to come back and read about that!

Tucson will be a piece of cake for you! Hope you have fun!

Oh, yeah, I'm a pocket person, too! Pockets and safety pins, both great stuff!

I can't believe that your marathon is only three days away! I'm getting so excited for you! Ahhh...to leave this cold frigid weather and go to someplace warmer. Envy.

Just catching up on your blog a bit. I'm so sorry about your "friend" deleting ALL of your work and the link too! How spiteful can someone be? :( Sounds like you are better off without them.

Found a name yet? I'm so bad with names. Notice mind is Colorado Runner. How original. I find out recently that there is a newspaper with the same name. I hope no one thinks I copied it!
