Week 52/Gratitude

Week 52:
Week's running totals: 22.5
2009 Running totals: 1802.69
Weight/core: 1 (I did it, but I'd rate the effort about a D, at best. ugh)

Gratitude:
- The holiday madness is over - and I still have one more week off work :)
- Special K Protein Plus cereal - yummy.
- My out of town visitor arrived here and home safely, despite crazy weather all over the map.
- My kids had a great Christmas - yea!
- It's clementine season!!
- I've finished my 2010 proposed race plan and also close to finishing up Boston plan.

I know that's 6 and I usually do 5 - I'm just being kinda crazy today!!

I've decided to officially start my Boston training today. It really doesn't matter when I put the official start date on the plan, I'd run the same mileage this week with or without Boston training plan being a definition for the week - but I just like how it feels and sounds and the whole sense of a fresh start beginning today, a cleanse so to speak. So going to go with Boston starting today. So, off to the gym for some core work.....

I agree I am glad the holiday insanity is over. We have allowed a holiday with special meaning to become and an over-commercialized nightmare.

Good luck on the Boston training

Extra Gratitude is always accepted.

Jealous. I will never run Boston - even if I had a cool coach. Can I run vicariously through you?
Thanks.

Hey, you aren't putting in much "planning time" into our celebratory plans girl. I'm so disapointed. I'll have to take CHARGE in that area I guess...I mean, a girl like you doesn't turn "35" at Boston everyday, right?! Or will you be 32? Sorry about that one.
By the way, I have many Jill/Jillian/Jill Pill/Jills friends but you two will be the only onces at Boston...can't wait. Ooops...I guess I better do some healing and training first. Happy OSD to you(Official Start Day)!
Hmmm...not sure when I'll start!

Hi Jill - thanks for stopping by my blog, and yeah another Colorado follower. Have fun in Boston and great 52 week totals!

I did not do the 1st Seattle RR last year. I do know 3 who did the Half and one who did the Full. All said it was well organized and supported for an inagural event.

Thanks for stopping by and have a Great New Year! Cheers!

Never tried the Special K Protein cereal but you have me intrigued. LOVE clementines, as do my kids! They've cleared off two boxes in the last couple of days and I've noticed my son making several trips to the bathroom! Glad you had a great Christmas! I started my "training" again yesterday. Good luck with yours!!

Hey, thanks for visiting my blog. I'll be seeing you around the blogosphere.

Even if it isn't too meaningful it is fun to "officially" start a training plan, especially for something as big as Boston. Good luck!

I can't wait to follow your Boston training Jill! This is sooo very exciting!

I'm off for another week as well, I'm almost, but not quite bored. Did I just say that? I should enjoy my time off....

Good luck with the training. I started on Monday! For me, training means back to the track and tempos, and only little increase in mileage. So you are really having a bday on marathon day? How exciting! We do have to celebrate!!!
